For Microsoft 365 admins

Approve CopierBridge for your organisation

If Microsoft told someone “Need admin approval”, an admin approves CopierBridge once for everyone. It takes two clicks, each on Microsoft’s own page, where you see the permissions before you accept.

Not an admin? Use “Copy link for your admin” and send the links to whoever manages your Microsoft 365.

Step 1 of 2CopierBridge Sign-in

Allow sign-in

People in your organisation can sign in to the CopierBridge dashboard with their Microsoft account.

  • Sign them in and read their basic profile, such as name and email address
Allow sign-in
Step 2 of 2CopierBridge

Allow sending

Someone who can sign in to a mailbox can connect it, so your copiers and scanners send from that address.

  • Send email as a mailbox, once someone who can sign in to it connects it
  • Keep sending without signing in again, until the mailbox is disconnected
  • Read the mailbox’s name and address, to show it in the dashboard
Allow sending

Also allow the Graph route (only if you need it)

For mailboxes where Authenticated SMTP can’t be turned on. It adds Microsoft Graph’s Mail.Send permission, which is also sending only. It includes step 2, so this one approval is enough on its own.

Allow the Graph route

What you’re approving

  • It applies to your whole organisation. People in it won’t be asked to approve CopierBridge themselves.
  • It connects no mailbox. A mailbox is connected only when someone who can sign in to it does so from the CopierBridge dashboard, and it can be disconnected there at any time.
  • Sending only. CopierBridge can’t open, read, search, move or delete mail, or see contacts, calendars or files.

Taking it back

Remove either approval at any time in the Microsoft Entra admin center, under Enterprise applications: CopierBridge Sign-in and CopierBridge.
